Flavors of Central Market

Flavors of Central Market is a Mudhook sponsored event made possible by your favorite market vendors!

The concept is simple: Ten market vendors are paired with ten Mudhook beers. At the start of each event you'll receive your very own Flavors of Central Market tasting glass and a map, and then you're on your way! Enjoy an afternoon of good food, brews, and music.

This season’s themes are PA Dutch, Chili Fest, Sweets, and Vendor’s Showcase.

PA Dutch

Dutch heritage is a huge influence on our culture and cuisine in Central Pennsylvania. This FCM showcase the flavors of this style of cooking, as well as the talent housed in Central Market. Ten vendors will create PA Dutch dishes complimented by ten beers brewed by yours truly.

Chili Fest

The FCM that started it all: Chili Fest. Our festival to celebrate beans, beef, and brews is in its second year. Spicy, sweet, hearty, veggie, meaty, they’ll have it all. The best part? They all use Mudhook beer in their recipe.

Sweets

It’s that time of year. Love is in the air, and sweets are all around. Find your match at the FCM event that showcases sweets in many different forms. Whether it be a pastry, soup, salad, or meat, you’ll find something that touches your heart and as always, pairs well with a Mudhook brew ;)

Vendors' Showcase

To end our Flavors of Central Market season, we have our Vendors’ Showcase. Our participants have stuck to the themes these past four months, but now is their time to shine. Using their favorite ingredients, recipes, styles, and specialities, vendors will make a dish of their choosing paired alongside a fresh Mudhook brew.
